「ちょっと言いすぎちゃったかな?」とか、
「もっとこうしてあげればよかった。」
なんて思うことはありませんか。

子育てを通じて、

Cocolomi

(Colorfully connected intentions to look into children’s minds)

Our objective at Cocolomi is to connect individuals with diverse backgrounds through smiles. Through these connections, we will take full advantage of available resources in and for the local community.

We would like our organization to be a place where people feel that we, each of us, are doing something for children and that society is a conglomerate of many kinds of people.

We would like our children to remember in the future that we enjoy ourselves raising them in this moment.

Children are admirable. We, parents, are happy to hug them and see them start standing or walking for the first time. As they grow, they make a lot of mistakes. We, as parents, wonder if we scold them too much or if we should have done this and that. We often feel that we are also learning as we raise them.

In Japanese, there is an expression called “Kosodachi.” It means believing in children’s own abilities to grow. Children try to solve problems on their own. We, parents, can use our experiences to raise children, and we add more to our experiences by living up with solving our children’s problems.

As children grow, parents connect with other parents and children and become involved in local community activities.

We make a series of choices as children undertake activities, and then, we learn to make better choices in the future. There is no single correct answer. All actions have a reason. Local community activities are beneficial for parents as well as children.

We all have our own opinions about Kosodachi. There is no right or wrong opinion. Our opinions change by learning to acquire different perspectives. Our organization has been founded to connect adults that want to make children smile through local community activities.
